ABOUT ME

I'm a simple girl who's continually learning lessons on this journey called life. Every season brings something different and for the hard seasons I am a better person for it, and for the great seasons, my smile is that much bigger. I'm continually amazed by God's Grace and I want to love others how God has loved me. I'm open to everything God has for me and I am watching His plan unfold in my life daily. When He's at the center of my life, nothing else matters. I am excited for what's ahead and thankful for the path I've taken to get here.
This blog is a place to share my everyday journey, filled with ups and downs as I am learning more each day about who I am called to be and all that God has for me. This blog has evolved over time, and entering this new season I am excited for all God has been showing me and I pray that I can share my heart.
If you're new to my blog here's a snap shot of my life.
I went to college at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN and graduated in May 2012. I passed my boards, got my RN license and moved back home to Florida where I worked as an RN for 3 years until I finished my Masters Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Central Florida.
I currently work in Primary Care full time as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
I got married December of 2014, and we had our first baby, our sweet Eleanor Mae in April of 2017.

I get excited about local coffee shops, big comfy socks, anything sweet, flying, yankee candles, chapstick, real relationships, church, sweet tea, Nashville, family, sentimental gifts,  anything navy,  nike running shoes, Greys Anatomy, new planners, vulnerability, and the beach.

I believe that Jesus Christ is my personal Lord and Savior and I strive to live by the truth of the Word of God. While not perfect, I hold onto the truth in this scripture found in Corinthians 2 where the Lord promises:
"My grace is sufficient for you, My power is made perfect in weakness."

It is my prayer that this blog would reflect the goodness of God in my every day life, even when it looks nothing like I thought.
